TONIGHT: 2 year anniversary for youth at Celebrate Recovery

6th – 12th grades – come tonight to the Landing.  Today is the 2 year anniversary of having a youth component to Celebrate Recovery and we hope you will join us.

ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION

June 1st is the 5 year anniversary for Celebrate Recovery at Elm Springs.  We hope you will join us for the celebration.  Dinner is at 6pm, Worship and groups start at 7pm and then dessert at 9pm.  To make your reservation, please email Debbie at dchandler7@gmail.com

OZARK MISSION PROJECT UPDATE

The team from Elm Springs will be going to Ozark Mission Project July 8-14.  Our location has changed to Cabot, Arkansas (north of Little Rock) but the dates are the same.  If you would like to help the youth go on the mission trip, please email Denni at elmyouth@hotmail.com ASAP!

You can purchase Boomerang Car Wash cards good for $12 each through the youth in March.  Proceeds will be benefit youth missions and assemblies.

Please pray for our missions teams.  If you would like to give financial support, you may do so through the offering and mark your gift for the appropriate mission team.

May Indoor Garage Sale

We will be seeking items for the next sale.  It is May 24-26 and we will begin taking items May 20; if you have larger items, please contact Denni at umteach@hotmail.com.  Items that are high priority are:  furniture, summer clothing, toys and baby items.  In addition, we also take jewelry, household goods, home decor or electronics.

Resolution Reinforcements

Did you resolve to…
lose weight? Come to TOPS (Take Off Pounds Sensibly) Mondays at 6pm in Crisler Hall.
exercise? 8am exercise group or Tuesday night Yoga at 6:30 (coming soon – Square Dance!)
end bad habits? Celebrate Recovery meets every Friday and is support for recovering from hurts, hangups and habits. Dinner at 6pm, worship and groups at 7pm.
make friends? Join a Sunday school class! Classes meet at 10am on Sundays for all ages.

NEW YEAR’S EVE SQUARE DANCE at 6pm

Everyone is welcome to attend our New Year’s Eve Square Dance and Potluck. There is no charge and we ask that you bring a dish to share. We will have experienced teachers and a caller. You do not need to have a partner or experience – just come and join us!

There will be childcare offered by our youth from 6pm-9pm (they will be accepting a love offering to go towards missions and scholarships.)

100% OF ALL FINANCIAL DONATIONS GO TO THE VICTIMS OF NATURAL DISASTERS.

To donate goods, please click here to see instructions for Cleaning Buckets and Health Kits.  For instate disasters,  Disaster Meal Kits and bottled water can also be made to assist the Arkansas Rice Depot who has helped feed those affected.  Click here for those instructions.  We will collect them at Elm Springs United Methodist Church on Sunday.  We are located on Highway 112 2 miles North of Highway 412.  (click here for a map.)

Please do NOT donate clothing.  We have resources to help with that need.
