Elm Springs Youth Group needs a name to give us some identity. Our theme is based on Elm Springs, (so trees and springs) as well as Psalm 1:1-3
Blessed is the man who doesn’t walk in the counsel of the wicked or stand in the way of sinner or sit in the seat of mockers. But his delight is in the Law of the Lord, and on his law he meditates day and night. HE IS LIKE A TREE PLANTED BY STREAMS OF WATER, WHICH YEILDS ITS FRUIT IN SEASON AND WHOSE LEAF DOES NOT WITHER. Whatever he does prospers.

Ooo the Giving Tree. You know I’ve heard a lot about it lately but I have never read that book. I guess I need to… besides I love Shel Silverstein.
